What Paceora does

Paceora is a native macOS menu bar app for controlling a compatible WalkingPad or KingSmith treadmill over Bluetooth. It lets you start and stop a session, adjust speed, review local workout history, and configure reminders and shortcuts.

The first Mac App Store release stores workout data locally on your Mac and does not require an account.

Quick setup

• Open Paceora from the macOS menu bar.
• Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your Mac.
• Power on your treadmill and keep it nearby during pairing.
• Grant Bluetooth permission when macOS asks for it.
• Use the menu bar controls to start, stop, and adjust speed.

Troubleshooting

If Paceora does not connect or behave as expected, try these checks first.

• Turn Bluetooth off and back on, then reopen the app.
• Make sure no other nearby device is already connected to the treadmill.
• Keep the treadmill awake and within Bluetooth range while pairing.
• Review your default speed, reminders, and unit preferences in Settings.
• Restart the app if the menu bar item or popover becomes unresponsive.

Compatibility and privacy

Paceora is an unofficial companion app for supported WalkingPad and KingSmith treadmills. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to KingSmith or WalkingPad.

Bluetooth is used only to communicate with the treadmill. Workout history and preferences are stored locally on your Mac. Read the full privacy policy at https://paceora.fit/privacy/.
